Meddler (おせっかい osekkai, translated as nosy in the Monsters series) is a personality in the Dragon Quest III remakes, in Dragon Quest Monsters and Dragon Quest Monsters 2, in Dragon Quest X, and in Dragon Quest: Monster Parade.

In the Dragon Quest III remakes, meddler is a personality that improves strength and resilience growth, but reduces agility, wisdom, and luck growth.

The hero cannot become a meddler at the start of the game.

Other party members have a chance to be a meddler when recruited as any class except gadabout, depending on their stat bonuses.
