Click is a spell in the Dragon Quest series. It opens up the doors normally requiring a Silver Key, Golden Key, Jailor's Key, Thief's Key, Magic Key or Ultimate Key.

The spell was particularly handy in earlier games in the series because it eliminated the need to have keys in the player's inventory, saving room for other essential items.

Appearances[edit]

Dragon Quest II: Luminaries of the Legendary Line[edit]

The spell is learned by the Princess of Moonbrooke at Level 23 in the original Famicom/NES version, and at level 29 in the SFC and GBC remakes. It costs 2 units of MP in all versions save the PlayStation 4 and 3DS ports of the mobile phone version, which dropped the cost to 0. If the Princess has the mad cap equipped then the MP cost will be erroneously displayed as 1.

Dragon Quest III: The Seeds of Salvation[edit]

The spell is learned by Mages and Sages at Level 35. It requires no unit of MP.

Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake[edit]

Click is learned by Mages and Sages at level 34 if their wisdom exceeds 152 points.

Dragon Quest X[edit]

Starting with version 4.1, Click is paid homage as the secret password to gain entrance to a hidden dungeon sealed away among ruins:

"我 当代の盟友カミルが 大いなる遺跡の守護者に 乞い願う……。秘術へ至る道 その扉を ここに開かんことを……アバカム!"
