The Miracle Sword (Originally Sword of miracles) is a recurring item in the Dragon Quest series. Whenever it successfully lands a hit on an enemy, it restores the user's HP by one quarter of the damage dealt. In fact some players consider it to be better than the Zenithian Sword.

Appearances

Dragon Quest IV

The miracle sword has an attack bonus of +100. Can obtain them from the Medal King. In the remake of the game, they can also be purchased in the final stage of Immigrant Town.

Dragon Quest V

The miracle sword has an attack bonus of +100. Can be obtained from the Medal King. Another one can be found in the Faerie Lea Treasures n' Trapdoors.

Dragon Quest VI

The miracle sword has an attack bonus of +100.

Dragon Quest VII

The miracle sword has an attack bonus of +100 and an appearance bonus of +38. It can be equipped by the Hero, Kiefer, Melvin, and Aira.

Dragon Quest VIII

The miracle sword has an attack bonus of +80. It can be upgraded into an Über miracle sword.

Dragon Quest IX

The miracle sword has an attack bonus of +77. It can be upgraded into an Über miracle sword. Note that the healing effect does not stack with that of Miracle Slash.
