The Jester's outfit is a piece of clothing exclusive to the 3DS version of Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King.
It is a special suit that protects the wearer from magical attacks.
Details[edit]
The Jester's outfit has a Defence bonus of +91 and reduces the damage taken from non-Zap spells by 33%. It can only be equipped by Morrie and it changes his appearance when worn. King Trode remarks that the outfit is quite similar in appearance to Dhoulmagus's outfit, making him confused. The Jester's outfit is obtained as reward from Princess Minnie for turning in 107 Mini medals. It can be sold for 7,500 gold coins, but it is not recommended to do so, as there is only one set in the entire game.
