Zam Ward is a talent that grants monsters a 50% resistance to dark-elemental damage, imparts considerable wisdom and MP boosts, and cuts the MP costs of spells in half.

Zam Ward appears in The Dark Prince as a support talent.
Some monsters might randomly have it upon scouting them. These monsters are: Bongo drongo, Firebird, Grinferno, Killerpillar, Lump shaman, Skeleton, Restless armour, and Snowbird.

Upon mastering it alongside with Sizz Ward, it unlocks the Chiaroscuro Shield talent set when the monster is next used for synthesis.
