Wii (ウィー ) known during development as Revolution is Nintendo's seventh generation console and the fifth video game console released by Nintendo. The Nintendo Wii has been released on November 19, 2006 and is the successor to the GameCube. Nintendo states that its console targets a broader demographic than that of Microsoft's Xbox 360 and Sony's PlayStation 3, but it competes with both as the best selling part of the seventh generation of gaming systems. Four games of the Dragon Quest series has been published and being playable on the Nintendo Wii. The Wii U is the successor of the Nintendo Wii that has been released on November 18, 2012.
