An Angel bell (てんしのすず tenshi no suzu, also known as Cherub chime) is a common item, first appearing in Dragon Quest V: Hand of the Heavenly Bride. When used on an ally, it removes the Confused status ailment.

Dragon Quest V: Hand of the Heavenly BrideEdit

Called Cherub chime in both the DS and Cell phone versions of this game, it can be bought for 500 gold coins at the item shops in Lodestar Harbour and Helmunaptra, and can be sold for 250 gold coins. It has a 1/64 chance of being dropped by the Air duckt enemy.

Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry SkiesEdit

Angel bells can be bought from certain shops for 90 gold coins, and can be sold for half price. They are a common item, found in towns such as Port Llaffan and Dourbridge. They can also be dropped by enemies like Chariot chappies and Lost souls.

Angel bells can be bought for 90 gold coins in L'Académie de Notre Maitre des Médailles.
