"Hero, this is amazing...Only Zenithians can use the Zenithian Equipment... Does this mean that you are one of us..?"
—Orifiela, in the overworld (Cell phone)
Orifiela is a character in the Dragon Quest series that appears as a temporary party member in Dragon Quest IV: Chapters of the Chosen. She is the first Zenithian in the series that players can interact with.
Appearances and personalityEdit
In her original appearance, Orifiela wears a sleeved white dress with a thin yellow rope tied around her waist. She dons bright red boots and a helmet embellished with a heart and two small wings. She has purple curly hair, brown eyes and small golden wings sprout from her back.
Her redesign in subsequent remakes depicts her wearing a sleeveless white and purple dress with a blue highlight and a black belt is wrapped around her waist. She has a decorative silver circlet, choker, and armbands, and blue earrings as well. Blue and gold shoes cover her feet and she has straight auburn hair, with large white wings coming out of her back.
She reveals in Party Chat her love for seaside towns and animals.

Dragon Quest IV: Chapters of the ChosenEdit
When the party finds her, she has somehow fallen out of the sky and landed in the branches of Yggdrasil. They help her come to and she points out the Zenithian sword, then helps them to reach Zenithia itself. After leaving the party, she offers up Sparkie, her pet Dragon, to travel with the party in her place.

Remake changesEdit
- As with Healie & Laurel, Orifiela's healing spell can be used manually outside of battle.
- If Orifiela is kept in the wagon in the NES version during the arrival to Zenithia, she will remain in your party for the rest of the game until Psaro the Manslayer is defeated as long as you chose to keep her. Though nothing is changed storywise, aside from not being able to get Sparkie. The Sony PlayStation and Nintendo DS remake prevents this by having her enter Zenithia once you're in the castle.

Dragon Quest VI: Realms of RevelationEdit
Orifelia is seen in the near-future version of Reaper's Peak, near the gateway to the village. She is overjoyed at being able to live among humans, stating that her dreams have come true at last.
Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark PrinceEdit
Orifelia is mentioned in a journal in Zenithia, which can be read by examining a bookshelf. This journal states that Orifelia and Sparkie "came into this world in the same year", indicating that these two characters are roughly the same age. Orifelia is also revealed in a flashback to have fought the rogue Zenithian Azabel in ages past.
