Desperation Blast is a recurring spell in the Dragon Quest series. It is a powerful explosive spell used by Demon Lords that deals a large amount of damage to a group of enemies.
Appearances
Dragon Quest Monsters: Super Light
Desperation Blast can be learned by Dhoulmagus's second form. It costs 90 MP to cast and deals major Bang-element spell damage to all enemies that cannot be reflected.
Dragon Quest Tact
Desperation Blast can be learned by Old King Mortamor at level 52 and costs 108 MP to cast. It has a range of two squares in front of him and inflicts moderate Bang-type spell damage to random enemies five times in a rectangular area of effect, as well as having a chance to reduce their Spell Res. Upgrading the spell increases its damage and reduces the amount of MP it costs to cast.
