Shimmering Heat is a spell that appears exclusively in Dragon Quest Tact that blinds a group of enemies with glaring heat.

Shimmering Heat can be learned by Platypunk the Sage and Prettypunk at level 24, Purrestidigitator at level 32, costing 28 MP to cast. It has a range of three squares in front of the caster, inflicts moderate Sizz-type spell damage to all enemies in a range of three squares horizontally, and rarely has a chance to envelop them in illusions.
