Flame Burst is a spell that appears exclusively in Dragon Quest Tact. It is one of the Old flame's signature spells, calling forth pillars of red-hot flames that weaken a group of enemies.

Dragon Quest Tact[edit]
Flame Burst can be learned by Old flame at level 44 and costs 123 MP to cast. It has a range of three squares in front of it and inflicts major Frizz-type spell damage to all enemies in a plus sign-shaped area of effect and has a chance to lower their ATK for three turns, as well. Upgrading the spell increases its damage and reduces the amount of MP it costs to cast.
