The Devil Armour (Originally Armor of hades) is a recurring armor in the Dragon Quest franchise.

Dragon Quest III
The devil armour has a defence bonus of +65, but will random freeze the wearer. It can be equipped by both The Hero and Warriors, and can sold for 5,250 gold coins. It's found in the Mountain Cave.
Dragon Quest V
The devil armour has a defense bonus of +65. It can only be equipped by certain monster companions.
