Bushy babies are infant monsters based on [[Nature family|cotton plant]]s with smiling faces. Their little bodies are made of brown branches that are covered by green cotton, the cotton hands and feet are connected to the body with those limbs, there is also an extra branch at the top of their heads with a green leaf growing in it. They wear yellow diaper-like clothes (also called ''nappies'') held together with red buttons, making them appear like a childish monster. Their monster info description in ''X'' states that they are spirits born from trees that have just budded in spring.

The Bushy baby is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series, first appearing in Dragon Quest X. It is a round, childlike plant monster wearing a nappy.
