The Short bow is a recurring weapon in the Dragon Quest franchise. It is a very simple pull-string, almost always the weakest bow in the games it appears in.

The short bow has an attack bonus of +23. They can be bought in Ascantha for 750 gold or sold for 375 gold. It can also be obtained as a rare drop from Bodkin bowyers.
