Narcissist (わがまま Wagamama,translated as selfish in the Game Boy Color version of Dragon Quest III) is a personality in the Dragon Quest III remakes, in Dragon Quest X, and in Dragon Quest: Monster Parade.

In the Dragon Quest III remakes, narcissist is a personality that improves agility growth, but reduces every other attribute growth.

Other party members have a chance to be a narcissist when talent scouted at Patty's Party Planning Place, with the exception of martial artists, depending on their stat bonuses.
An existing character cannot become a narcissist through items.
Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake[edit]
The narcissist personality decreases strength by 5%, decreases resilience by 10%, increases agility by 10%, and decreases stamina, wisdom, & luck by 10%.
