Oubliette is a dungeon in Dragon Quest IX. It is located in the depths of Gittingham Palace. It is the location of the prison where Corvus is held captive.

  • The name "oubliette" is French for "forgotten place". This is a reference to Corvus being held there for a very long amount of time.
  • The name "oubliette" is appropriate to this particular dungeon, given that it is indeed accessible only by a trap door at its topmost level.[1]
