Baramos

The Archfiend Baramos is one of the main villains of Dragon Quest III and a recurring monster in the series. He seeks to rule the world and engulf it in darkness.

Upon his defeat, the player learns that he was actually just a follower of the evil Zoma, and not the true final boss.

Appearances

Outside his main role in Dragon Quest III, Baramos also makes appearances in these titles.

Dragon Quest IX

Baramos appears as a Legacy Boss. He is the weakest of the Legacy bosses, but he is still very powerful and capable of casting Kafrizz and Kaboom and can also use fire breath and regular attacks (which are prone to inflicting critical hits).. He gains access to Disruptive Wave at level 8, Hellfire Breath at level 16, and Kafrizzle at level 32. Ice attacks are his weakness, but he resists wind attacks.
