The Nail Mark is a cave in Alefgard in Dragon Quest III. It is the precursor to Erdrick's Cave in the first game, and is the location of the Template:Hero's shield.
Appearances
Dragon Quest III: The Seeds of Salvation
It is said that the cave is the point where Zoma entered Alefgard. Like the Pyramid's basement floors, magic is sealed here too. Upon the demon lord's defeat, The Hero and his companions fall into an opening pit from Zoma's Citadel and are flung to the third floor of the cave. The cave begins to collapse as they escape, and the third floor is sealed off once they exit.
