Bloomingdale can be reached as soon as the player reaches [[Slurry Quay]].  After arriving in town, the hero learns that there is an unused ship in the harbor.  On [[Stella]]'s advice, the hero goes to look at the ship and learns that it is owned by [[Marion Bloome]].  Going to speak with Ms. Bloome, the hero learns that Marion's parents died some time ago and that she has been very generous ever since.  However, while talking to Marion, she becomes very irate and throws the hero out.

Bloomingdale is a port town in Dragon Quest IX. It is located to the southwest of Dourbridge. It is the location where the hero acquires a ship.

Bloomingdale can be reached as soon as the player reaches Slurry Quay. After arriving in town, the hero learns that there is an unused ship in the harbor. On Stella's advice, the hero goes to look at the ship and learns that it is owned by Marion Bloome. Going to speak with Ms. Bloome, the hero learns that Marion's parents died some time ago and that she has been very generous ever since. However, while talking to Marion, she becomes very irate and throws the hero out.
