The Magic Bomb (Magic Ball) is a key item in Dragon Quest III. It is used to open the path in the Tempt Cave in order to proceed to Romaly.
Obtaining
The bomb is created by a man in the village of Reeve. He gives a bomb to the heroes when the visit him. In order to enter his house, the heroes must use the Thiefs Key.
Usage
The bomb is used against a wall blocking the path within the Tempt Cave. Once placed on the wall, a special animation takes place and the wall is destroyed by the bomb.
