CharacteristicsEdit
Chariot chappies are small, pointy-headed humanoid creatures with olive green skin riding atop an animated wooden chariot armed with sharpened stakes. Their chariots have red eyes with yellow irises and they have crudely carved mouths that are wide open. The wagons are fully capable of moving on their own, requiring no animal to draw them. The rider and chariot attack in combination, rushing at adventurers traveling on foot at high speed with their crude lances in an attempt to knock them out of action. In some spinoff games, as well as Dragon Quest X, the chappies are considered part of the Material family due to their chariots.
