The Warhog is a regular enemy and recruitable monster that first appeared in Dragon Quest V. They have two palette swaps, one of which is a boss, that are both stronger than this enemy.

Dragon Quest X
Warhogs reappear in the 10th entry starting with Version 3.4 of the game. They are more stronger than in V, even using their Bakuretsuzan technique from Battle Road II.
