The Narspicious is a recurring item in the Dragon Quest series. It is an unusual pink and dark green plant that is used as a crafting ingredient.

Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies

Narspicious can be collected in the Urdus Marshland and Western Wormwood, found in rank 5 treasure chests, or dropped by Sculpture vultures, Shivery shrubberies, Moai minstrels, and Tyrannosaurus Wrecks. One sprig of narspicious is required to complete Quest #60: That Makes Scents. Narspicious is used in the following alchemy recipes:

Dragon Quest X

Narspicious is used as an ingredient in equipment and furniture crafting. It can be purchased from a material store for 290 gold coins, picked up from sparkly spots, or dropped by various monsters, including Bloody blades, Brimstone bulbs, and Wailin' weeds.

Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age

Narspicious can be purchased from the roving emporiums in the Gallopolis Region, the Laguna di Gondolia, and Sniflheim, or received from sparkly spots at Gallopolis, the Gallopolis Region, the Laguna di Gondolia, the Costa Valor, the Zwaardsrust Region, Insula Algarum, and the Champs Sauvage. Sprigs of narspicious can also be found in Octagonia, Lonalulu, and Phnom Nonh. It has a 116 chance of being dropped by Kissers and Scourgettes, a 132 chance of being dropped by Magic marionettes, and a 164 chance of being dropped by Mushroom mages. Narspicious is used in the following recipes for the Fun-Size Forge:

Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree's Woe and the Blight Below

Narspicious can be dropped by Bag o' laughs, Hocus chimaeras, and Mimics, or exchanged for 3 Mini medals. It can be used to create Fishnet stockings and the quick recipe for the Ring of truth in the Alchemy Pot and sold for 10 gold coins.

Dragon Quest Heroes II: Twin Kings and the Prophecy's End

Narspicious is used as an ingredient to improve various accessories. It can be dropped by Ghosts, Cumauluses, and Lost souls and can be sold for 11 gold coins.
