Summon Beast is an evocation technique that brings forth a member of the beast family to aid a Monster Master in battle, acting on the character's behalf for the turn they are summoned.

Dragon Quest VII Reimagined[edit]

Summon Beast is learned by Monster Masters learn at rank 6. It costs 16 MP and will mobilize one of the following mammals:

Orc × Uses Multithrust to attack four random foes for 20~25 damage per stab. Scales to M.M.'s level between 20 & 80, dealing 80~85 per stab at level 80
Great sabrecat × Uses Battering Slam to deal 25~35 damage to one foe, with a 75% chance to apply Sap before resistances apply. Scales to M.M.'s level between 20 & 80, dealing 215~225 at level 80. Sap effect scales to M.M.'s magical might like the spell.

Lands a critical hit for 35~60 damage, scaling to 515~540 at level 80.
Franticore Uses Sigh of Sorrow to deal 70~90 Dark damage to all foes, and reduces their magical might & mending by 25% for 5~7 turns. Scales to M.M.'s level between 20 & 80, dealing 330~350 Dark damage at level 80

Uses Sharp Claws to slash one foe twice for 65~75 damage per hit, dealing 545~555 per hit at level 80
Great sabrecub Instantly revs up a random ally so he or she can use a Let Loose command
