Summon Beast is an evocation technique that brings forth a member of the dragon family to aid a Monster Master in battle, acting on the character's behalf for the turn they are summoned.

Summon Beast is learned by Monster Masters learn at rank 6. It costs 24 MP and will mobilize one of the following reptiles:

Crested viper × Uses Paralysis Attack to hit one foe for 30 damage with a chance to paralyse it. Scales to M.M.'s level between 30 & 90, dealing 115~120 at level 80.
Green dragon × Uses Scorch to deal 180~200 Fire damage to all foes, scaling to 550~570 at level 90.
Drakulard Uses Scorch to deal 180~200 Fire damage to all foes, scaling to 550~570 at level 90.

Uses Stomp to pulverize all foes for 225~235 Earth damage, with a chance to stun them for a turn, scaling to 760~770 damage at level 80. Will fail against members of the floating "family".
Dragonlord - - Spew two orbs of pitch-black flame on random foes for 170~190, doubling damage they take from Fire attacks, scaling to 370~390 at level 90.

Uses Song of Fire and Ice to deal 370~430 non-elemental damage to all foes, scaling to 930~990 at level 90.

The Dragonlord can only be summoned if the Monster Master is equipped with his monster heart accessory, which is the prize for defeating the sovereign of serpents in the Buccanham battle arena DLC in 25 turns or less. His appearance rate is 1/5th under normal circumstances, and is guaranteed when the Monster Master uses the Positive Reinforcement command.
