Nail Mark

The Nail Mark (Cave Northwest of Tantegel) is a cave in Alefgard in Dragon Quest III. It is the precursor to Roto's Cave in Dragon Quest. It is the location of the Shield of Heroes.

History

It is said that the cave is the point where Zoma entered Alefgard. Upon his defeat, The Hero and his companions fall into an opening pit from Charlock Castle to the 3rd basement of the cave. Upon leaving, the 3rd basement is sealed off.
