The Blindfolded hammerhood is a special monster that appears in Dragon Quest Tact. It is a Hammerhood dressed in comfortable summer clothes, armed with a watermelon-smashing bat ready to participate in summer festivities.


The blindfolded hammerhood is a hammerhood that has traded in its signature wooden mallet for a giant white bat decorated with both teal and blue stripes and the design of a watermelon on it, designed for watermelon-splitting. It continues to wear its purple fur hood, but now also wears a blue-green summer shirt with white flower designs on it, black shorts, and a pair of sandals. The hammerhood is excited to partake in many different summer activities, but is stressed out over how much planning is involved.


Dragon Quest Tact[edit]

Blindfolded hammerhood appears as an A-rank monster of the Beast family as part of the limited "Scintillating Summer! Swimwear, Waves, and Watermelons!" event. It will join the party in Chapter 1, Episode 1 of the event quests and can be fully awakened by completing the quest at any difficulty. The blindfolded hammerhood also stars in its own Battle Road.
