The noble garb, also known as the royal clothes, is a recurring set of clothing in the series. It is a fancy, if not particularly strong, set of clothing.

Dragon Quest VI: Realms of Revelation[edit]
The noble garb has a defence bonus of +23 and a style bonus of +28. The hero is required to wear it in order to enter Somnia Castle in the real world. It can be equipped by the Hero, Nevan, and Terry. It can be bought in Somnia (Lower World) for 800g and sold for 600g.
Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past[edit]
The noble garb has a defence bonus of +21 and a style bonus of +28. It can be equipped by Kiefer, Sir Mervyn, and Aishe. One can be found at Faraday Castle in the present, inside the king's chambers, and the other at the Temple Palace in the present. It can be sold for 600g.
