The seed of luck is a recurring item in the Dragon Quest series that was introduced in Dragon Quest III. It permanently raises the Luck of a single party member by 1-3 points. It was retired in Dragon Quest V and has not appeared in the series since.

Lucky seeds are carried by heedoo voodoos (1⁄32), lump wizards, wyrtoises, drac the Vlads (1⁄64), and cureslimes, waspions, hell niños (1⁄128). They can sold for 90 Gold Coins and found in:

Due to system changes the 50% stat cut that takes place when a character changes vocations at Alltrades Abbey will not affect the point boosts given by seeds, which are permanently applied to a character.
Dragon Quest IV: Chapters of the Chosen[edit]
Seeds of luck only appears in the NES and PlayStation versions, having been removed from the game for the Nintendo DS port and all subsequent versions.
