The Slime stick is a recurring wand in the Dragon Quest series. It is a wand decorated with a slime at the end and is part of a series of equipment throughout the games themed after the Slime family.

Appearances[edit]

Dragon Quest VII remake only[edit]

The slime stick has an attack bonus of +28, a style bonus of +8, and can be equipped by everyone except Aishe. It is received as a reward upon the first completion of the DLC Tablet Sticky Business by defeating the Dracky boss.

Dragon Quest VIII remake only[edit]

The slime stick has an attack bonus of +22, has a 25% chance of absorbing the enemy's MP after attacking, and can be equipped by Jessica and Angelo. It can be sold for 3,000 gold, but it is not recommended to do so as only one can be acquired in the game.

The wand was available to Japanese players by redeeming points through the Dragon Quest Portal App. It became available to international players for a short time in 2017, but after 2018, all DLC items for the 3DS version became unavailable.

Dragon Quest X[edit]

The slime stick is a one-handed wand with an attack bonus of +6, a style bonus of +3, a magical mending bonus of +11, a magical might bonus of +6, and increases the wielder's weight by 1. It has an MP absorption rate of 2.0%, which increases to a total of 4% when attacking monsters of the Slime family. The wand can be equipped by Priests, Paladins, Luminaries, Dancers, and Druids, and can be crafted with woodworking.
