Desdemona (オルネーゼ, Orunēze) is one of the main characters in Dragon Quest Heroes II: Twin Kings and the Prophecy's End. She serves as envoy of the High King of Accordia and is a mighty female warrior.

Etymology
Desdemona is named after from the character of the same name from William Shakespeare's tragedy, Othello, and is the eponymous character's wife. The name itself is derived from the Greek δυσδαιμων, which means ill-fated.
