- Stoneman redirects here. For the statue monster, see living statue
The stone golem (originally Stoneman, RockGolem / Rock Golem later on) is a recurring enemy in the Dragon Quest series. Introduced in the original Dragon Quest alongside the golem, it is a stony gray variant of that monster.
Characteristics
A stone golem's name sums up its appearance: it is a golem with a stone-gray body.
While some appearances have had stone golems as being superior to their normal brethren, other titles have shown the stone golem as being weaker, though they still boast the strength and stamina of their relatives. They are especially prone to charging up power for increased strength to their already crushing blows.

Description | They protect their pals with their bulky bodies, and brush off bog-standard blows with ease. Hit them hard or not at all. The rock blocks of a ruined temple absorbed an evil aura and assembled to form the first stone golem. |
