Tox can be learned when a Mage invests 3 points into the knives skilltree. It costs 3 MP, has a casting time of just two seconds, and will infect one enemy with a poison that deals 10 damage every 5 seconds.
Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince[edit]
Tox costs 3 MP and has a base accuracy of 60%, rising to 80% at 3,999 wisdom. The spell attempts to poison one monster, dealing 1/16th of it's max HP as damage and can be cast twice to deal 1/8th damage. It is learned through the Charmer, Irritant, Stinker, Toxicologist, and Vexologist talents.
