Hades' helm

The Hades' helm is a recurring helmet in the Dragon Quest series. It is a purple helmet with yellow horn-like protrusions and a fur collar and is typically a cursed piece of equipment.

Dragon Quest V
The Hades' helm has a defence bonus of +30. It can only be worn by certain monster companions.
Dragon Quest VIII
The Hades' helm has a defence bonus of +33... but it is cursed. It is found in the Pirate's Cove and can be sold for 4,250 gold or mixed with Saint's ashes in the Alchemy Pot to make a Mythril helm. The Hero and Yangus can equip it.
