Scale Shield is a shield that appears in the Dragon Quest series.
Appearances
Dragon Quest III (GBC Version)
The scale shield has a defense bonus of +12, and can be equipped by The Hero, Warriors, Priests, Merchants, Jesters, Thieves & Sages.
It can be purchased for 600 gold coins, and sold for 450.
Dragon Quest IV
The scale shield has a defense bonus of +7, and can be equipped by all but Alena & Maya. Hank Hoffman Jr. has this among his equipped.
It can be purchased for 180 gold coins and sold for 135. Tessie will sell this at Torneko's shop for 270.
Dragon Quest V
The scale shield has a defence bonus of +7. Most characters can equip this shield.
