Scale Shield is a shield that appears in the Dragon Quest series.
Appearances
Dragon Quest III (GBC Version)
The scale shield has a defense bonus of +12, and can be equipped by The Hero, Warriors, Priests, Merchants, Jesters, Thieves & Sages.
It can be purchased for 600 gold coins, and sold for 450.
Dragon Quest IV
The scale shield has a defense bonus of +7, and can be equipped by all but Alena & Maya. Hank Hoffman Jr. & Oojam has this among thier equipped.
It can be purchased for 180 gold coins and sold for 135. Tessie will sell this at Torneko's shop for 270.
Dragon Quest V
The scale shield has a defense bonus of +7. Most characters can equip this shield.

The scale shield has a defense bonus of +7. All characters can equip this shield.
