The Elfin charm is a recurring accessory in the Dragon Quest series. This medallion protects against snooze, fuddle, fizzle, and whack by reducing the spell's accuracy by 75%.

The elfin charm guards against harmful status effects. It can be purchased in Precaria for 3,000 gold.
Dragon Quest IX
It can be sold for 2,250 gold, but not bought. It has Def +5 and a 2 star rarity. Everyone can equip it. It is made by the alchemy recipe of Holy talisman x 1 + Elfin elixir x 1 + Emerald moss x 3. Its menu description is: A talisman that turns aside tons of undesirable effects.
