Kerplunk (formerly known as Farewell) is a recurring spell in the Dragon Quest series. It sacrifices the one who casts it to restore all other party members.

Kerplunk is learned by Serena at level 60 and Hendrik at level 65. It requires 32 MP to cast depleting all when the user dies.

It is naturally learned by the Gasgon and WingTree, among others. Any monster can learn it if it knows Sacrifice and Revive.
