The captain's coat has a defence bonus of +32 and a style bonus of +30. It can only be equipped by the Hero and Sir Mervyn. It can be purchased in Wetlock for 4,200 gold and sold for 2,100 gold. It can also be found in various locations, including La Bravoure, the Underwater City, Buccanham, and the Sea Dragon.
