Mur is a town found in Dragon Quest III.
History
During his journey, Ortega was found unconscious outside the town by a boy named Petya. While recovering in the town, Ortega (or "Peredvizhnik" as they knew him) made friends with inhabitants, and Petya in particular. After he recovered, he left his helmet with Petya as a token of his gratitude. In the years that followed, "Peredvizhnik" was fondly remembered by the town, and a song was written commemorating Petya's rescue of him. His helm was proudly displayed and polished to a sheen.
Years later, the Hero (Dragon Quest III)'s own journey takes them to Mur. Due to their close resemblance to their father, the villagers initially mistake them as Ortega, and are overjoyed that "Peredvizhnik" has come to pay a visit. When they realize the Hero is not Ortega, but his child, they give them a warm welcome and share stories of Ortega. Petya gives Ortega's helm to the Hero, believing it belongs with them.
