The Demon cloud is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series, first appearing in Dragon Quest X.
It is a stronger variant of the Cumaulus with powers over darkness.
Characteristics[edit]
Demon clouds are glowing purple clouds with sinister human-like faces, capable of floating about in midair. Its puffy features make the cloud look like it has chubby cheeks and its eyes are yellow with small black pupils. The clouds can breathe out pitch-black flames of darkness or mist to curse their enemies or and can stop adventurers dead in their tracks by casting Thwack. They can also hide their bodies with mist as a defensive mechanism to protect themselves from physical attacks.

Dragon Quest Tact[edit]
Demon cloud appears as a B-rank monster of the Inorganic family as part of the limited Mindini's Invincible in the World of Dreams!? event. It can be recruited from the Demon Cloud stage of Expedition! World of Dreams! at any difficulty, eventually becoming recruitable in Part 4 of the main storyline from Chapter 1, Episode 8: Thwarted Progress. The demon cloud can participate in the Battle Roads of Belleau & Cabot and the Penny pincher.
