The Dragon Staff is a powerful staff in Dragon Quest V: Hand of the Heavenly Bride. It is one of the strongest weapons available to the Hero, along with the Metal king sword and Flail of destruction.

The dragon staff can be equipped by the Hero and increases his attack by +125 and will turn him into a dragon if he uses it as an item in battle via the Puff! spell. This status can be used strategically against several enemies, including the the final boss, that breathe fire themselves as the character is now immune to extreme heat. The staff is kept in a special room inside Talon Tower. Its connection to the Zenith Dragon is unknown.
