Kafuddle

Kafuddle is a spell in the Dragon Quest Series. It is the improved from of Fuddle, and behaves very similarly to Kasnooze in that it treats the monster's resistance value as if it were one level lower. This gives it a far greater chance to confuse enemies than any other ability, and it's range targets all foes in each game it appears in.

AppearancesEdit

Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed KingEdit

Angelo learns Kafuddle after investing 66 skill points into his Charisma skill set and costs 10 MP to cast. Kafuddle uses an accuracy rate of 100%, 100%, 75%, 0% in both versions of the game, almost guaranteeing to connect against all monsters save those with immunity.

Trap Box in Memoriam can use it against the party.

Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry SkiesEdit

Kafuddle is learned by Armamentalists at level 31. It costs 10 MP to cast, has a base accuracy of 75%, and the spell will increase in accuracy once the caster's Magical Might reaches 50. When the value reaches 799, the spell will be 100% accurate barring enemy resistances.

Dragon Quest XEdit

Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive AgeEdit

Veronica will learn Kafuddle at level 42, and now costs only 8 MP to cast. It has a base accuracy of 75% and will become 100% accurate against non-resistant monsters when the little lady's Magical Might hits 799.

Dragon Quest TactEdit

Kafuddle can be learned naturally by Wulfspade ace at level 1. It costs 16 MP to cast, has a range of three squares in front of it and has a chance to confuse up to a row of enemies. Upgrading the spell raises the success chance of the target/s getting confused.
