The Princess's Robe is a recurring armor in the Dragon Quest franchise. This regal gown was designed to protect against the elements in it's debut, but has since shifted focus to magical resistance.
Appearances
Dragon Quest V
The princess's robe has a defence bonus of +80, and reduces breath damage by 40. It can only be worn by female characters, such as the wives and Madchen.
Dragon Quest VI
Found in Mortamor's Dreadlair, the Princess' Robe provides +85 defence cuts all magical damage save for zap by 30.
Dragon Quest VII
Same parameters as in VI.
Dragon Quest VIII
The princess's robe has a defence bonus of +94, and protects against all magic damage except for zap by 30. It can only be worn by Jessica.
