The better buddy bullet is a projectile that helps catapult-wielders make a monster much more likely to join them. Only one shot is able to affect a foe's favorability, so bombardment is a waste of ammo.

The recipe for better buddy bullets is obtained after clearing the third floor of The Snarl. Axel will sell the bullets to Erik and Mia for 10,000 gold per unit once all the railways throughout Draconia have been returned to working order, and he can mass produce the ammo ten units at a time with five princely powder, five chunks of crimsonite, five slime crowns, three tufts of faerie fluff, and one agate of evolution.
