The Kriller killer is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series, first appearing in Dragon Quest XI. It is an arthropod with six vicious arms that has grown to a monstrous size.

Characteristics

Kriller killers are amphibious green-shelled lobsters that have taken to preying on humans, putting their sharp appendages against swords and spears. They remain bound to the water despite their new diet, and can be found on river banks and sea shores like other crustaceans. The crustaceans bolster their offensive capabilities by breathing out ice-cold blasts from their maws and can toughen up their exoskeletons with magic.
