Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake collaboration[edit]

On February 13, 2025 it was announced that a crossover event based on Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake would take place up until April 10th, with the Dragon Quest series joining the ranks of Bravely Default II, Final Fantasy IV, Live A Live, Nier:Automata, and Triangle Strategy of prior collaborations.

Specifically, the event involves the Octopath characters Cyrus Albright, Molrusso, and Viola entering a Monster Arena to face off against classic Dragon Quest foes to obtain immense wealth and lustrous prizes. The trio have taken up the roles of the Hero, Gadabout, and Sage vocations to aid them on their quest, granting themselves access to spells and skills exclusive to these iterations of the characters. The collaboration also adds new Keepers, the in-game term for pets, based on the humble slime and coveted metal slime.

Second round[edit]

The second phase of the collaboration was announced on March 13 2025, which involved Partitio Yellowil becoming a Martial Artist, Signa taking up arms as a Warrior, and Therese Shermot joining the cloth as a Priestess. The monsters of this round are pulled from Dragon Quest II, including Atlas, Belial, Pazuzu, and liquid metal slimes. Furthermore, the dracky and its pallet-swaps have been made into Keepers for the player to collect.
