The stud poker is a recurring weapon in the Dragon Quest series. It is the next step towards the red-hot poker. However, due to the removal of the previously mentioned weapon in Dragon Quest XI, the stud poker is now the penultimate step towards the split-pot poker, the strongest spear in said game.
