Mercury is a character and eligible party member in Dragon Quest VI: Realms of Revelation.

Recruitment[edit]

In the SFC Version of VI, Mercury can be randomly recruited when a Liquid metal slime is defeated in battle and one of the party members is a rank 6 Monster Master.

In the DS remake onwards Mercury will join the party at Suite Dreams after sharing 20 dreams with other players, or after beating the game. In both cases he is found resting in a quiet glade behind the building, and must be cornered. A Masked Thug is there to give assistance, similar to how Carver helped box in Peggy Sue.

Mercury joins the party with the Liquid metal slime Vocation, and as such does not require use of the Liquid Metal Mind. Aside from class abilities, Mercury learns several skills on his own:
