The Hades' helm is a recurring helmet in the Dragon Quest series. It is a purple helmet with yellow horn-like protrusions and a fur collar and is a cursed piece of equipment in half of its appearances, though as of the eleventh game it has begun to protect its wearer against being cursed instead.

Dragon Quest V: Hand of the Heavenly Bride[edit]
The Hades' helm has a defence bonus of +30, and one is found in a chest in the Estuary Sanctuary. It can only be worn by certain monster companions, but not its namesake monster despite the beast dropping this item upon being defeated.
